Praia da Tocha ( Portuguese for: Beach of Tocha) is a Portuguese village in the municipality ( Freguesia ) of Tocha , in the district ( concelho ) of Cantanhede .
It is known for its sandy beaches, which are mostly surrounded by dunes. The place is still hardly known nationwide, but has been developed for tourists with beach bars and sidewalks to the beach. A campsite is on site and the fishermen's traditional wooden houses have been converted into holiday homes. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag .
The customs building ( Posto da Guarda Fiscal de Palheiros da Tocha ) built in 1928 is a listed building.
