Predrag Stevanović (born March 3, 1991 in Essen , Germany ) is a Serbian football player . His preferred position is the offensive midfield.

Career

He started playing soccer at TuS Essen-West in 1995 and switched to the youth department of Rot-Weiss Essen two years later . After five years, he moved to FC Schalke 04 in 2002 , where the left-footed offensive midfielder played together with his brother Aleksandar Stevanović in the youth team in 2009/10 and was used in the Schalke reserve team in the first half of the 2010/11 season. In January 2011 Stevanović moved to Werder Bremen , where he signed a contract until June 30, 2014. First, he was supposed to collect match practice in the second team, for which he played for the first time on February 5, 2011 when he came on for Lennart Thy in the 80th minute in the 1: 2 home defeat against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt .

Stevanović made his Bundesliga debut on the 32nd matchday of the 2010/11 season (April 29, 2011) in a 0-1 home defeat against VfL Wolfsburg when he came on for Torsten Frings in the 77th minute . After the 2013/14 season Stevanović left SV Werder. He was without a club for a year before joining the reserve of the Stuttgarter Kickers in September 2015 . In October 2016 he joined the SG Wattenscheid 09 , which competes in the Regionalliga West, after having kept fit there for a few months.
