from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2006/07 season of the Première Division was the 45th season of the Burkinabe soccer championship since the independence of the former Upper Volta in 1960. 14 teams played for the title, which CF Ouagadougou was able to win for the first time. The bottom of the table ASEC Koudougou and the capital club Santos FC had to relegate in the course of a regulation that is intended to restrict the clubs from Ouagadougou. Newcomers from the Deuxième Division were Boulgou FC and BPFC Koudougou.
