from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2009/10 season of the Première Division was the 48th season of the Burkinabe Football Championship since the independence of the former Upper Volta in 1960. 14 teams played for the title, which ASFA-Yennenga was able to win for the ninth time. The bottom of the table SSC-B Boromo had to relegate. RC Kadiogo may have to play relegation matches as part of a regulation intended to restrict the clubs from Ouagadougou.
