Prices Harbor is a small natural harbor in the Southland regionon the South Island of New Zealand .
geography
The Prices Harbor , rather a small bay equal, located approximately 57 km west-southwest of Tuatapere on the south coast of the South Island. The bay has a depth of around 460 m and a width of around 600 m. The 600 m wide entrance to the bay is lined on both sides by rocks jutting out of the water. The coastline extends for around 1.4 km.
South Coast Track
On the east side of the bay, in a sea cave, is the Westies Hut , a refuge for hikers who hike the South Coast Track . The track ends about 2 km west on the Big River .
