Prillimäe is a village (Estonian alevik ) in the rural municipality of Kohila in northern Estonia . It is located in Rapla County , 22 kilometers from Rapla .
Description and history
Prillimäe has 375 inhabitants (as of October 1, 2008). The area of the village is 58 hectares.
The village was named after the farm of the same name ( Prillimäe talu ). In 1937 an Estonian center for fur farming was established there. It was best known for raising silver foxes and blue foxes . With the Soviet occupation of Estonia, the company was expropriated and converted into a sovkhoz .
