Prime was one of the small masses of grain and wine in the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland .

in Sursee the measure was

  • 1 prime = 7 Parisian cubic inches = 1/7 liter

and in Willisau

  • 1 prime = 8 6/13 Parisian cubic inches = 1/6 liter
