Primorsky Dnevnik

Primorski Dnevnik (literally: "Coastal daily newspaper") is a regional Slovenian- language daily newspaper for Friuli-Venezia Giulia with its editorial office in Trieste . It was founded on May 13, 1945 as the successor to the pre-war newspaper Edinost and is the only daily newspaper in the Slovenian language outside of Slovenia .

Primorski's readership includes the autochthonous Slovene minority in the former provinces of Gorizia and Trieste . In addition to a large advertising market, the newspaper mainly offers regional news, but also reports on Slovenia , the Slovenes in Austria and general world events.
