History and description

The cube-shaped house has a simple symmetrical plaster facade . Characteristic of the villa is a latently historicizing design, a mezzanine-like low upper floor with a cornice and an attic . Also noteworthy is a repeated expressionist "tooth cut motif" typical of the time . The villa has a slate hipped roof .

Monument protection

The house is a good example of villa construction in Darmstadt in the 1920s. For architectural, architectural and urban historical reasons, the villa is a listed building .
