Pristine ( English : flawless ) is a Norwegian hard rock band from Tromsø , which was considered a classic rock or blues rock formation up to and including their fourth album.

history

The band was founded in 2006 by singer, songwriter and band leader Heidi Solheim when she was studying singing at the Tromsø Music Conservatory. The debut album Detoxing was released in 2011 on Blues News Records and reached number 33 on the Norwegian album charts. The second album, No Regret, followed two years later . In 2016, the third studio album, Reboot , was released, the band's first album to be released outside of Norway. Pristine went on a European tour as the opening act for the Blues Pills . Pristine was nominated in the blues category at the 2016 Spellemann prizes. Also in 2016, the German independent record label Nuclear Blast , which specializes in metal and sub-genres, signed Pristine and released their fourth studio album Ninja in 2017 . The album was recorded in just one day, plus three days for overdubs . The fifth studio album Road Back to Ruin was released on April 19, 2019 and reached number 92 in the German album charts.

On their Germany tour in May 2019, they had seventeen sold-out performances in a row. The rock magazine eclipsed called them "one of the flagship bands of the genre" hard rock in May 2019. Their music consists of multi-faceted rock and ballads.
