Private Pluto (literally: Soldier Pluto ) is an animated short film produced by the Walt Disney Company . It was created in 1943. This cartoon is Pluto in the US Army and two chipmunks annoyed.
This is also the first appearance of the (at the time still nameless) chipmunks Ahörnchen and administration .

Pluto is ordered by his superior to guard a bunker as there are saboteurs in the area. This bunker is used by two chipmunks as a store for their nuts, and they use the gun barrel as a nutcracker. Pluto tries unsuccessfully to drive away the chipmunks. When Pluto manages to steal their nuts, they shoot him in the air and use his impact to crack the nuts. The two rodents then close the bunker and leave Pluto angry.
