A Prinzlowe meadow was bequeathed to the city of Werben in 1225 by the guardian Heinrich of the Brandenburg Margrave Brothers. A river Sure was also mentioned. A former parcel of Sühre is known between the Elbe and Havel near Neuwerben. The castle may have been near them, as the fighting in 1056 took place between the two rivers.
  • north of the Havel near Roddan
There is the idea that the castle could also have been on the opposite side of the Havel. However, this contradicts the statement that it was located on the Elbe.
  • at another point on the Elbe
The castle could also have been in a different place than the meadow and the meadow was only named after the castle.

There has not yet been a clear archaeological assignment.
