The Providence River is a river in western Dominica in the Parish Saint Paul .

geography

The Providence River is a tributary of the Boeri River . It rises on the western slope of Morne Macaque in the same saddle in which Boeri Lake is located. The visible outflows of the lake, however, run east in the Clarke's River . The river runs to the west and receives a tributary from the left and west at Providence Estate through the Morne Paix Bouche River, which also rises in the Morne Macaque. After about another kilometer, the river joins the Boeri River north of Springhill Estate from the left and west. The river partially forms the boundary between the parishes of Saint Paul and Saint George .
