The Clarke's River is a river in eastern Dominica in the Parish Saint David .

geography

The Clarke's River is the longest tributary of the Rosalie River and arises in a gap between Morne Trois Pitons and Morne Macaque in the Morne Trois Pitons National Park at the triangle of the parishes St. David and St. Paul and St. George . It drains the Boeri Lake , in the vicinity of which the Providence River rises, but which drains west to the Boeri River . Another spring brook comes from the left and north of the southern slope of the Morne Trois Pitons, then the river plunges steeply to the northeast down to the vicinity of Terre Ferme , where it follows an arc in the same river basin as the South Branch of Ravine Deux D'leau East describes and from there runs along the north flank of the Morne Macaque, where it receives the Cacao River in addition to other streams , before it merges with the Stuarts River at Morne George and forms the Rosalie River with the addition of the Brown's River . The river is about 6.7 km long.
