geography
The Rosalie River is basically just the lower reaches of the highly branched river system of Rosalie in eastern Dominica. At Morne George / Tantie , the Brown's River , Clarke's River and Stuarts River flow together to form the Rosalie River. From then on, the river stretches only 3 km east to its confluence with Rosalie Bay . In this short course it still receives a tributary from the O'Hara River (right, S) from Grand Fond and from the New Town River (left, N) from New Town , just before the mouth.
The catchment area lies between the catchment areas of Castle Bruce River , Saint Sauveur River (N) and Ravine Ma Robert (S). The steep eastern slopes of Morne Trois Pitons form the natural border to the west.
