Puyenbroeck ( Provinciaal Domein Puyenbroeck ) is a place and a provincial facility (Provinciaal Domein) in East Flanders in Belgium in the municipality of Wachtebeke . The place named after a small lake became famous for the building of Puyenbroeck Castle. Today, in the area of the former castle complex, next to the buildings, there is the Provinciaal Domein Puyenbroeck leisure and recreation area , which extends over the communities of Wachtebeke, Moerbeke , Lochristi and Lokeren .
