The Provencal daffodil ( Narcissus provincialis ) is a plant from the genus of daffodils ( Narcissus ) in the family of Amaryllidaceae family (Amaryllidaceae).

description

The provincial daffodil is a small, yellow trumpet daffodil. It is very similar to Narcissus minor , but differs from this by narrower leaves and wider bracts of the main corolla.

They bloom from April to May.

Distribution area

The only known natural site is near Grasse in Provence . It grows there at altitudes up to 2000  m .
