Provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ( Urdu خیبر پختونخوا صوبائی اسمبلی, English Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ) is the legislative unicameral parliament in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa .
The seat of the provincial government is in Peshawar . The assembly has 124 members. Of these, 22 are reserved for women and three for religious minorities.
2002 elections
In the 2002 elections, the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal won 53 seats, the Awami National Party (ANP) 15 seats and the Pakistani People's Party (PPP) 10 seats.
2008 elections
In the 2008 elections, the Awami National Party and Pakistani People's Party emerged victorious at the expense of the conservative Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal .

Elections 2013
In the provincial elections in 2013, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf emerged as the winner. This is a stark contrast to the last election, as the last election winners were to be found in the lowest places.
