The Przegibek Hut ( pl. Schronisko PTTK na Przegibku ) is located at an altitude of 1000 meters in Poland in the Saybuscher Beskids on the Przegibek mountain pass. The area belongs to the Ujsoły commune . The hut is known after the Przegibek mountain pass .

history

The first hut opened privately in 1928 and was later taken over by the Polish Tatra Society . In 1937 there was an expansion. During the Second World War, the hut came to the Beskid Society . Towards the end of the war, a major battle took place between the withdrawing German units on the one hand and partisans and the Red Army on the other. It was badly damaged in World War II and remained in a primitive state until 1958 when it was renovated and modernized. In the 1960s an alpinum was created. In 1987 there was a further expansion. Another modernization took place in the 1990s. The hut is owned by the PTTK . A ski lift and nature reserve are nearby.
