from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Publius Aelius Mamianus (full name form Publius Aelius Aelia domo Roma Publi filius Mamianus ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 3rd century AD .

Two dedicatory inscriptions found at Fort Solva and which are dated to 211/217 prove that Mamianus was the tribune of the Cohors I Ulpia Pannoniorum milliaria equitata Antoniniana , which at that time was stationed in the province of Pannonia superior . Mamianus came from Rome ( domo Roma ) and led the pseudotribus Aelia .
