Puig Neulós in the Serra de l'Albera
The Puig Neulós ( French Pic du Néoulous ) is the highest mountain in the Serra de l'Albera ( French : Massif des Albères ) with a height of 1256 meters . It is located in the north of Catalonia and has been the border between France and Spain since the Peace of the Pyrenees in 1659 .
The Spanish side of the mountain has been part of the Paratge Natural d'Interès Nacional de l'Albera nature reserve since 1986 . There are antenna systems on the mountain top.
