Pulitzer Prize 2006

At the 90th Pulitzer Prize , the winners were announced on April 17, 2006.

For the first time since 1997 no prize was awarded in the theater (drama) category. The Pulitzer Prize for Beat Reporting was last awarded in 2006. From 2007 onwards there will be the “Local Reporting” category, which existed from 1948 to 1952.
