Scott Radinsky with Pulley at Groezrock 2013

Pulley is an American punk rock - band from California .

You have been under contract with the record label Epitaph Records since it was founded in the early 1990s . Musically, they have always offered punk rock, whereby Pulley's type of punk rock is clearly also known as skate punk or melodycore .

Pulley had at times overlaps with Ten Foot Pole in the line-up . Since the band rarely went on tour and released albums irregularly, they were sometimes seen as a side project of TFP. That has only changed in the last few years. In Germany they toured several times, including as the opening act for No Use for a Name . Singer Scott Radinsky played for eleven years - from 1990 to 2001 - in Major League Baseball , all other band members also have, albeit less well paid, jobs besides music. As a result , the band has been largely inactive since the 2004 album Matters . It wasn't until the mid-2010s that live activity picked up again slightly, but it's limited to the fall and winter months and the west coast of the United States, as this is most compatible with Radinsky's job as a baseball coach. 2013 Chris Dalley replaced the previous drummer Tony Palermo. Another studio album was released in 2016 called No Change In The Weather. The "long-time friend" Trey Clinesmith now plays the second guitar. In 2019 the band was inducted into the Ventura County Music Hall of Fame. Shows for the band's 25th anniversary and work on a new album are planned for 2020.
