Scott David Radinsky (born March 3, 1968 in Glendale , California ) is an American punk singer who was previously a baseball player and manager .

Life

Scott Radinsky graduated from Simi Valley High School, California, in 1986 . After three years in the minor league, the left-hander played from 1990 to 2001 in major league baseball as a relief pitcher .

From 1990 to 1995 he played for the Chicago White Sox in the American League , from 1996 to 1998 for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League , from 1999 to 2000 for the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League and in 2001 for the Cleveland Indians in the American League. In total, he threw in 555 games.

In 1994 he fell ill with the dangerous Hodgkin disease (lymphogranulomatosis), but was cured. Unable to play during the 1994 season, he coached his old high school team during that time. He is currently the pitcher trainer for the Buffalo Bisons .

In addition to his sporting career, he was the singer of the band Scared Straight , which had existed since 1982 and which was later renamed Ten Foot Pole . There he was, however, "kicked out" in 1996 because he was only able to give concerts out of season due to his baseball career and Ten Foot Pole had to cancel a tour with The Offspring . Today he is the singer in the band Pulley .

Scott Radinsky is married and has two daughters. He runs a skateboard park in Simi Valley , which he named Skatelab.
