Ten Foot Pole is an American punk rock / melodic hardcore band.

Band history

The band was formed in 1983, albeit with the name Scared Straight . They renamed themselves more spontaneously in Germany when they were on tour in Europe and didn't want to act as a straight-edge band to present their first CD Swill . Back then, they had to handwrite all CDs they had with them with Ten Foot Pole . But they stayed with the name.

Members

In 1996 Dennis Jagard became a singer after the "fifth man" Scott Radinsky had to leave the band for his baseball career . Mike Levy and Eric Cody weren't there from the start, they were added to the last album Subliminable Messages . Johnny Smoke ( bass ) and Steve Von Treetrunk ( guitar ) have played in Ten Foot Pole .

Discography

With the exception of their first album and the split CD with Satanic Surfers ( Bad Taste Records ), Ten Foot Pole have so far released their records via Epitaph Records , Victory Records and Go-Kart Records . Their first album was released by Fat Mike from NOFX , but the latter did not want to release the album through his label Fat Wreck Chords , as the band was still in its infancy and there was quite a bit of experimental music on their first album.
