Punta Agneta ( Spanish ) is a headland on the Black Coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located on the north side of the Kemp Peninsula and protrudes into Mason Inlet .
It was named by Argentine scientists in 1978. It was named after Alfredo Salvador Agneta (1887–1914), a pilot in the Argentine Air Force who was killed in a plane crash on October 28, 1914.
