Punta Formas ( Spanish ; in Argentina Punta Urtubey ) is a headland at the Danco Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . In the northwest of the Arctowski Peninsula , it divides Orne Harbor into two branches .
Chilean scientists named it after Iván Formas C. from the Fuerza Aérea de Chile , a participant in the 25th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1970–1971). The namesake of the Argentine name has not been passed down.
