Johann Peter Klein

Johann Peter Klein , also Jean Pierre Klein (born September 8, 1812 in Junglinster , † April 7, 1873 ibid) was a Luxembourg lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a notary, Klein studied law in Bonn and Paris after attending the secondary school in Bastogne and the Atheneum in Luxembourg . During his studies in 1842 he became a member of the Fridericia Bonn fraternity . In 1847 he was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD and lawyer at the Luxembourg District Court . In 1848 he became a lawyer , and in 1850 first assessor of the cantonal peace court in Luxembourg. In 1852 he was appointed judge at the arbitration court in Wiltz , before he became district judge in Luxembourg in 1853 and vice-president of the district court in 1859 . In 1868 he became a legal advisor to the Supreme Court as a senior judge . From 1854 until his death he was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Luxembourg for Grevenmacher ; from 1872 to 1873 its vice-president .
