Punta Pisano ( Spanish , in Argentina Punta Serrucho ) is a headland on the east coast of Snow Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 10 km northeast of Cape Conway at the end of the Hall Peninsula and forms the southern boundary of Ivaylo Cove .
Chilean scientists named it after the botanist Edmundo Pisano Valdés (1919–1997), participant in the 35th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1980–1981). The background of the Argentine naming is not known.
