Punta Popa is a headland on the Danco coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is one of two headlands on the northwest side of the Coughtrey Peninsula in Paradise Harbor .
Argentine scientists named it after the hut deck ( Spanish popa ' poop ' ) on the stern of a ship.
