Punta Tronador ( Spanish for thunderbolt ) is a headland of the Eta Island in the Melchior Islands group in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It lies north of the Odera Peninsula and protrudes into Andersen Harbor .
Argentine scientists named them. The further naming background has not been passed down.
