Maria Aljochina and Nadeschda Tolokonnikowa took part in the German premiere on March 23, 2014 as part of the series “Best.Doks - Injustice Needs Witnesses” in Munich. According to the organizers, the film by the Russian film collective “ Gogol's Wives ” stays closer to the activists than the Russian-American documentary Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer . Maria Aljochina and Nadeschda Tolokonnikowa were invited to the presentation of the film on the occasion of the 37th international film festival in Gothenburg. Gogol's Wives are to be represented by Wassili Bogatow and Taisija Krugovych.
