Puzzle (magazine)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

puzzle: Many cultures - one country is a monthly culture magazine on Bavarian television (BFS) . It is the first intercultural culture magazine on German television. The 30-minute broadcast is moderated by Özlem Sarıkaya .

Format and content

The new format introduced at the beginning of 2008 presents cultural workers with immigrant biographies who influence and shape the culture of the state of Bavaria with their art and their work . After the culture magazine was broadcast every quarter in 2008, the “puzzle” program will be broadcast monthly from the beginning of 2009. The programs in the FSO are repeated in the night program of the FSO, as well as shown in the digital television program EinsExtra of the ARD .

The main title of the TV magazine refers to the fact that a puzzle consists of different parts, which only when put together create an overall picture - and that it is the same in our society. It is about a wide variety of languages, religions, traditions, cultures and temperaments, which meet and shape, influence and change and which together create a complex picture. According to the additional title "Many cultures - one country", the magazine is dedicated to the cultural achievements of people with migration biographies in Bavaria, who have a decisive influence on the country's cultural scene in areas such as music , dance , theater and literature .

The title melody of the show is the first track So Easy from Röyksopp's Melody AM album .

reception

The new, intercultural culture magazine was widely received by TV viewers and critics. The new program format and, in some cases, individual programs were reported extensively on the online platform Filmstarts.de and the online magazine sat + kabel as well as in the Süddeutsche Zeitung , the Frankfurter Rundschau and other print media. According to the Süddeutscher Zeitung , the program is intended to "give the audience a new perspective on the Bavarian and the big things around it" .
