Pyramid is a music album released in 1978 by the British progressive rock band The Alan Parsons Project .

background

The LP was conceived at a time when the general interest in pyramids and the pyramid energy was very high. A pyramid is depicted on the back of the dollar bill, there have been newspaper reports about supposed magical properties. As a result, the album contains many references to ancient wonders, including the pyramids of Egypt. This is most evident in the titles What Goes Up… and Pyramania .
