The Pyrenees Cup was a football competition for Spanish and French club teams from the regions bordering the Pyrenees . The tournament, which was held between 1910 and 1914, was attended by the best teams from the Languedoc , Midi-Pyrénées , Aquitaine (France) and Catalonia and Basque Country (Spain) regions . The tournament was one of the first international soccer competitions and did not take place after the outbreak of the First World War .
