Qareh was an ancient Egyptian petty king of the Second Intermediate Period . He is only occupied with his own name on scarabs . The name is likely of Semitic origin.

In older literature this ruler also appears as a Qur , Qar or Qal . Kim Ryholt assigns him the throne name Chaweserre , which is only recorded on scarabs of this time. He sees him as a ruler of the 14th dynasty. Thomas Schneider and Jürgen von Beckerath see him as a ruler of the 16th dynasty. James P. Allen sees the possibility that it was one of the first Hyksos rulers (15th Dynasty).
