The Qatar National Bank Tower is a construction-free skyscraper in Doha , the capital of Qatar .

Construction work on the building began in late 2009, but was discontinued in 2010. Completion was previously planned for 2014. The Qatar National Bank Tower will be the new headquarters of the Qatar National Bank . When completed, the tower will reach a height of 510 meters (with 101 floors). This means that it will surpass the Al Quds Endowment Tower, which is also under construction in Doha, by 15 meters and will likely become the tallest building in the city and the country if the work on the Doha Convention Center Tower , which was discontinued in 2009, is not continued. The tower will also be one of the tallest buildings in the world and even higher than Taipei 101 (508 meters). In addition, the Qatar National Bank Tower is expected to be the second tallest office skyscraper in the world after the One World Trade Center in New York (541 meters). The office KEO International Consultants designed the skyscraper.
