Qazi Hussain Ahmad ( Urdu قاضی حسین احمد ; * January 12, 1938 in Nowshera , British India ; † January 6, 2013 in Islamabad ) was a Pakistani theologian and politician. From 1987 to 2009 he was the political and religious leader of the Islamic community Jamaat-e-Islami , an Islamic - political movement.
