Quarterflash
Quarterflash was a pop and rock (music) band known in the 1980s . The band, founded in Portland / Oregon (USA) in 1980 , consisted of the members Rindy Ross (vocals and saxophone), her husband Marv Ross (guitar), Jack Charles (vocals and guitar), Rick DiGiallonardo (keyboards), Rich Gooch ( Bass) and Brian David Willis (drums).
Career
In 1981 the band produced the debut album "Quarterflash" released by Geffen Records . This was a great success and also included the band's greatest hits such as “Harden My Heart” (No. 3 on the US Billboard charts ) and “Find Another Fool” (No. 16).
The band's second album, “Take Another Picture” produced in 1983, produced another hit called “Take Me to Heart” (number 14). However, this album was not as successful overall as the debut album.
In 1985 the band produced their last album "Back Into Blue" for the time being and then broke up (after separating from Geffen Records).
Five years later, in 1990, the band got together again and produced the album "Girl In the Wind" , which was released on Epic Records . Then the band finally broke up.
Today Rindy and Marv Ross play in a band called "The Oregon Trail Band", which is popular in their region.
