Cabinet Albrecht I
The Albrecht I cabinet formed the state government of Lower Saxony from February 6, 1976 to January 19, 1977 . Ernst Albrecht was elected Prime Minister on January 15, 1976 . After failing to propose a cabinet to the state parliament for confirmation within 21 days, another ballot took place on February 6, 1976, in which Albrecht again received a majority. He was then able to appoint a minority government that did not need to be confirmed by the state parliament.
