Schröder I cabinet (Lower Saxony)
The Schröder I cabinet formed the state government of Lower Saxony from June 21, 1990 to June 20, 1994 . Gerhard Schröder was elected Prime Minister on June 21, 1990 . The SPD had previously received 44.2 percent in the state elections on May 13, 1990 (CDU 42.0; FDP 6.0; Greens 5.5); Schröder formed a red-green coalition . It was the third red-green coalition ever formed at the state level (list here ).
