The Quinault River is a 105 km long river on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state .

It rises deep in the Olympic Mountains in Olympic National Park and flows southwest through the Enchanted Valley . A few kilometers above Lake Quinault it unites with its main source river, the North Fork Quinault River .

The actual Quinault River is sometimes referred to as the East Fork Quinault River above this confluence . Below this confluence, the river marks the boundary of Olympic National Park for a few kilometers before flowing into Lake Quinault. The Quinault River then flows southwest until it reaches the Pacific at Taholah .

The river is named after the Quinault Indians who live in the lower reaches .
