União das Freguesias de Quintiães e Aguiar , or Quintiães e Aguiar for short , is a municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district of Barcelos in northern Portugal .

1,190 inhabitants live in the municipality on an area of ​​7.36 km² (as of 2011 figures).

The municipality was created in the course of regional reform in Portugal on September 29, 2013 by merging the two previous municipalities Quintiães and Aguiar . Quintiães became the seat of the municipality.
