The Lungomare Quinto

Quinto al Mare or simply Quinto is a district of the Italian port city of Genoa . The district is located in the east of the city, just after the Quarto dei Mille district , from which General Giuseppe Garibaldi set out on the Train of a Thousand in 1860 . The Nervi district is east of Quinto . All three districts lie directly on the Ligurian Sea and are bounded in the hinterland by the foothills of the Apennines .

At the administrative level, Quinto belongs to the Munizip IX Levante and until 1997 belonged to the Nervi-Quinto-Sant'Ilario district . The population is 8857.

Quinto has some of the most renowned lidos in the Ligurian capital. There are also typical restaurants in the district that offer specialties of Ligurian cuisine.
