Quirin Emanga Noupoue (born October 3, 2000 in Wissembourg ) is a German basketball player of Cameroonian descent. He is in the Bundesliga squad of MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg .
career
Emanga was born in Wissembourg near the Franco-German border . He played in the youth of Post Südstadt Karlsruhe and TV Marbach before moving to BSG Ludwigsburg. In addition to the youth activities in Ludwigsburg, there were games in the BSG men's team in the 2nd regional league. For the 2017/18 season he made the leap into the expanded squad of the Bundesliga club MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg , while continuing to gain experience and experience in the youth and second regional league. At the beginning of December 2017, Ludwigsburg coach John Patrick granted him his first short stint in the Bundesliga basketball game against Göttingen . In August 2018 Emanga became German U18 champions in the basketball variant "3-on-3" .
At the beginning of April 2019 , Northeastern University , located in Boston , Massachusetts , announced that Emanga would start studying at the university and join the university's basketball team from the 2019/20 season.
National team
In the summer of 2016 Emanga took part in the European Championship in Poland with the German U16 national team, and in May 2018 he was appointed to the U18 national team in the basketball variant “3-on-3”. In 2019 he was in the traditional basketball game ("5-on-5") in the squad of the U20 national team.
