Rågsved is an above-ground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the district of the same name, Rågsved . The station is served by the Gröna linjen of the Stockholm subway system . The station belongs to the rather moderately frequented station of the subway network. On a normal working day, 5,900 commuters get on here.
The station was opened on November 14, 1959, when the section of the Gröna linjen between Högdalen and Rågsved was put into operation. Until December 1, 1960, it was also the terminus of the T19 line, from then on the trains drove over the newly built section to their current terminus at Hagsätra. The station is located between the Hagsätra and Högdalen stations . The platforms are above ground in an elevated position. It is around nine kilometers to Stockholm Central Station .
