The Réserve Peyrieras (also known as Peyrieras Reptile Reserve , Madagascar Exotic , Peyrieras Butterfly Farm , Peyrieras Nature Farm or Mandraka Reptile Farm ) is a small private Réserve naturelle in Madagascar near Marozevo, on the Route National N2 75 km east of Antananarivo between the towns Manjakandriana and Moramanga .
The Réserve is a popular stopover for tourists on the way to the Parc national d'Andasibe-Mantadia .
The farm was by the French entomologist and naturalist André Peyriéras founded (* 1927).
In the reserve there is a collection of numerous reptiles , amphibians , crocodiles and butterflies . In the adjacent forest area can be found in the people accustomed Larvensifaka and Brown Maki up close photograph, as Coquerel's sifaka at feeding time.
Some of the animals can be viewed in walk-in cages or they are taken out of their cages and demonstrated by the obligatory guide .
