Romulo Marcos Antoneli
Rômulo Marcos Antoneli (born February 25, 1982 in Inhumas , Brazil ) is a Brazilian soccer player .
The center forward was loaned to the German Bundesliga club 1. FSV Mainz 05 for the 2005/06 season from the Brazilian second division side Ituano FC . By the winter break of 2005/06 he had eight appearances in the Bundesliga , one in the DFB Cup and one in the UEFA Cup . He scored a goal in the DFB Cup.
In January 2006 Rômulo returned early to FC Ituano and then moved to the Brazilian first division club Gremio Porto Alegre . In late 2006 he went to Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte and was loaned to Beitar Jerusalem for the 2007/08 season.
In Brazil, Antoneli wore his first name on his jersey. The DFB did not allow that, so the Brazilian had to wear his last name on his jersey.
