Rössmund

Rössmund ( English Rossmund ) is a settlement on the eastern edge of Swakopmund in the Erongo region in Namibia . It can largely be counted , together with Heritage Hill, in the River Plots district .

There are:

  • the Rössmund Golf Course , also called Rössmund Desert Golf Course ,
  • the residential area Rössmund Estate , also called Rössmund Village and
  • the Rössmund Lodge .

The area is 45 meters above sea level, seven kilometers east of Swakopmund city center and three kilometers southeast of Swakopmund Airport . The Swakop runs along the southern edge of the facility . Rössmund has a direct connection to the B2 national road from Swakopmund to Windhoek. The railway station Nonidas was four kilometers east of Rössmund on the former Swakopmund – Windhoek railway line .
