Rüdiger Bierhorst (born November 8, 1963 in Konstanz ) is a German songwriter from Berlin and belongs to the newer " songwriting " scene.

Life

At the age of 16 Bierhorst worked in his first group in Konstanz, which was initially called Seed 'n' Barley and later Schlicht'n'einfach . They released two records in the early 1980s .

After graduating from high school and doing military service, Bierhorst moved from Konstanz to Berlin, where he lived until about 2 years ago. His career as a solo artist began when he moved to Berlin. Bierhorst moved back to Konstanz in 2012 for personal reasons.

In addition to his activities as a solo artist, he and five other songwriters form the formation Monsters of Liedermaching . He has also worked several times with joint ventures and, after their end, with the remaining Götz Widmann . Widmann wrote the song Mein Lied for Rüdi on his CD böäöäöäöäöä about Rüdiger Bierhorst. Furthermore, he often appears together with Sven Panne under the name PanneBierhorst.
